Luján Statement on Passing of Former Navajo Nation President Kelsey Begaye

Clovis, N.M. – U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) issued the following statement on the passing of former Navajo Nation President Kelsey Begaye:

“Former Navajo Nation President Kelsey Begaye was guided by his strength and vision for his community. He was dedicated to improving the lives of young people and served our nation with honor as a Vietnam veteran. My prayers are with his family, loved ones, and the Navajo Nation who are mourning his loss.”
