Luján Joins U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Becerra To Host A Roundtable Focusing on Youth Mental Health in Schools

Las Cruces, N.M. – Today, U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) joined U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra to host a roundtable that focused on youth mental health in schools. During the roundtable, Senator Luján and Secretary Becerra highlighted the funding allotted by the Biden Administration for youth mental health services and school-based health centers. This roundtable discussion served as the official kick-off event for the Senator’s mental health consortium, launched earlier this year to connect individuals with mental health knowledge and expertise to support New Mexico communities.
