Luján Statement on Supreme Court Decision on the Affordable Care Act

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) issued the following statement after the Supreme Court overwhelmingly rejected the Republican-led states’ effort to dismantle the health care law:

“The Affordable Care Act has been a lifeline for millions of Americans since being signed into law. Despite Republican-led efforts to rip away the health care of millions of Americans, the Supreme Court has once again upheld this landmark law. This ruling is welcome news but a reminder that Republicans will stop at nothing to destroy the Affordable Care Act.”
