“It was a pleasure meeting with Mayor Benavidez and Commissioners Varela and Sena to discuss how the American Rescue Plan is helping Pecos and San Miguel County recover and rebuild from the pandemic. I was proud to help secure relief for local governments in the American Rescue Plan, including nearly $5.3 million for San Miguel County, to continue essential services and keep workers on the job,” said Luján. “As Congress negotiates an infrastructure package, I’ll continue working to include provisions that will create new jobs and opportunities for New Mexicans and meet community needs.”
